RHD Angled CSP gear shifter to fit 50-79 Beetles. 

All CSP Products shifters rely on CNC technology to provide the highest quality and workmanship. They are among the most precise gear levers available for air-cooled Volkswagens. They fit VW Beetle, Karmann Ghia (Type-14), Type-3 and Type-34, plus Thing (Type-181).

Solid stainless steel rods are used to manufacture the shafts. Through a very painstaking process, the rods are bored, bent and polished. The selector base is manufactured from steel using laser technology, and is covered with a black gear lever cover made of real leather. PTFE blocks support the ball joint. The shifter is around 300 mm long (just like stock), measured from the top of the tunnel.

A carefully smoothed and polished CNC-milled aluminium T-handle is standard, bearing the CSP logo. It is ergonomically shaped to the hand, thus providing a level of comfort never before experienced.The CSP gear lever provides a basic 40 percent reduction in gear change travel, while the ''rapid shift'' version offers 60 percent reduction. This is making shifts even faster.

Reverse gear is accessed by means of a push button on the side of the handle. The special HD cable inside the handle is produced exclusively for this application and is almost tearproof.

Each of our CSP Products shifters is supplied with a new reverse lockout plate, attachment bolts and detailed assembly instructions in English and German.
